Anthropic just closed a $30 billion Series G funding round. The company's new valuation is now $380 billion — a huge jump from its previous Series F valuation of $183 billion.
The new round was led by Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC and investment firm Coatue, TechCrunch reports .
Also among the investors are companies such as DE Shaw Ventures, Peter Thiel's Founders Fund and Abu Dhabi's MGX, Accel, General Catalyst, Jane Street and the Qatar Investment Authority.
“Whether it’s entrepreneurs, startups, or the world’s largest corporations, the message from our customers is the same: Claude is becoming increasingly important to the way businesses operate,” said Krishna Rao, CFO of Anthropic. “This funding round reflects the incredible demand we’re seeing from our customers, and we’ll use this investment to continue building the enterprise-grade products and models they’ve come to rely on.”
