Next year, Apple will launch a paid Health+ subscription , which will add a new feature to the standard Health app — an AI coach that will help with diet and give advice based on medical data.
Meanwhile, WebProNews sources suggest that Health+ will be part of a large-scale update to the Health app with the introduction of AI, and in 2026, users will receive a new subscription that will take a big step forward in the field of personalized medicine.
Subscription terms — price and formats — have not yet been announced.
The AI coach should act as a «virtual doctor» — analyzing data from Apple Watch, iPhone, and third-party devices and providing personalized lifestyle recommendations. At home, the service could feature video content from real doctors (sleep, nutrition, cardiology) to explain complex things in a simple and accessible way.
Recall that initially the AI coach was supposed to appear in iOS 26.4, but now its release has been postponed to at least iOS 27.
