In the Czech Republic, the factory of the Ukrainian company Archer, which produces thermal imagers for the army, was burned down - almost all production was destroyed
On the night of March 19-20, a group of masked people set fire to the Archer-LPP plant in Pardubice, Czech Republic, which produces thermal imagers for the Ukrainian company Archer.
On the night of March 19-20, a group of masked people set fire to the Archer-LPP plant in Pardubice, Czech Republic, which produces thermal imagers for the Ukrainian company Archer.
The company’s CEO, Oleksandr Yaremenko, confirmed the incident on Facebook.
According to him, almost all production was destroyed, including finished products in the warehouse and products in the process of being manufactured. The warehouse hangar and the neighboring administrative building were damaged.
Yaremenko assured the partners: all contractual obligations will be fulfilled, the products will be shipped on time.
The group of «pro-Palestinian activists Earthquake Faction» claimed responsibility — they stated that they planned to attack the production of weapons for Israel. Archer-LPP representative Olga Duplichuk does not exclude the Russian trace in the organization of the attack. «Unfortunately, almost all the production was destroyed, including the products that were manufactured and finished products in the warehouse,» Duplichuk said .
According to CT24, a warehouse hangar burned down, and the fire also affected an administrative building located nearby. At the same time, according to rescuers, there was nothing related to production in the hangar itself. Inside, they stored mainly building materials prepared for future reconstruction.
Who is Archer?
Ukrainian company Archer specializes in thermal imaging optics for the military. In particular, it produces AT-300 thermal imaging sights for the Stugna-P anti-tank missile system. After the full-scale invasion in 2022, the company moved production to Pardubice, establishing a subsidiary structure Archer-LPP as part of the LPP Holding.
LPP Holding unites technology companies in the fields of unmanned systems, avionics, AI-recognition and military equipment. Several years ago, the holding announced a joint production of drones with the Israeli Elbit Systems in Pardubice — but this cooperation never took off.
This is not the first such attack on defense companies supplying equipment to Ukraine. In June 2025, about 150 masked activists from the Stop Arming Israel movement stormed the Belgian OIP factory in Tournai and damaged military equipment being prepared for shipment to Ukraine.
In the case of Archer, the activists got the address wrong: according to Czech rescuers, the burned hangar mainly contained building materials for future reconstruction, not production equipment. This does not reduce the damage, but calls into question both the competence of the perpetrators and the version of a «pro-Palestinian» motive as the only one.
Archer FPV drone manufacturer, deftech company Neros, announced the opening of an office in Kyiv. Vacancies for business development managers are already open
