In an interview with the Financial Times in Washington, Fedorov also said that he would be happy to help the US «create an army of drones» in exchange for supplying Patriot interceptor missiles to Ukraine.
«I’m ready to go on this exchange,» he said.
Regarding his own fund, Fedorov assured that he is in talks with «a large number» of potential investors interested in Ukrainian innovations.
«This is not exactly a classic venture fund,» Fedorov emphasized.
According to him, the fund will be able to both participate in the creation of new companies and invest in existing Ukrainian startups.
At the same time, Fedorov did not disclose the details of his role in managing the fund and whether he would receive his own financial benefit from its work.
Commenting on the news that he had become an advisor to the Italian Minister of Defense, Fedorov did not rule out that he could later receive a similar role in the defense departments of other countries — perhaps France and the United States.
However, Fedorov refused to comment on whether he would meet with anyone from the Trump administration, or whether he planned to meet with tech billionaire Elon Musk.
Earlier, Fedorov shared the priorities of his own venture fund and told what technologies it would raise funds for.
