A team of 40 engineers can be a large project for a customer and one of dozens of accounts for a global IT vendor. When something goes wrong, the difference becomes noticeable: the response goes through several levels of approval, the search for the right specialist is delayed, and the person capable of making the decision has almost no contact with the customer.
