The European developer of robotic systems ARX Robotics will open an office in Ukraine at the beginning of next year.
The European developer of robotic systems ARX Robotics will open an office in Ukraine at the beginning of next year.
As the CEO of ARX Robotics Ukraine Ihor Korniolov announced during the ForbesTech technology conference, the ARX Robotics office will be launched in Ukraine in January-February 2025.
«In the Ukrainian office, the focus will be on technical specialists who will service the systems that we will supply to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,» said the CEO of ARX Robotics Ukraine. He added that these will be hardware and software engineers, as well as technical support specialists for operational maintenance.
At the beginning, up to 10 people will work in the office, but the staff will expand in accordance with the increase in the supply of ARX Robotics products to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Ukrainian specialists will be involved in the company’s R&D process.
«Ukraine has now become Silicon Valley for the defense-tech industry,» ARX Robotics CEO Mark Witfeld said during his speech at Forbes Tech 2024.
ARX Robotics, a startup founded in 2022, develops autonomous robots. The company produces modular unmanned ground systems and sensors for military and commercial applications.
Since its founding, ARX Robotics has created 12 robots that have been deployed in Germany and Ukraine. The company’s robots are already in service and tested in the armed forces of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary.
