AtomTeam Studio Presents ATOM RPG Sequel
A team of developers from Latvia, Poland, and Ukraine announced ATOM RPG 2. It’s a tactical CRPG set in a world that «survived the hot phase of the Cold War».
A team of developers from Latvia, Poland, and Ukraine announced ATOM RPG 2. It’s a tactical CRPG set in a world that «survived the hot phase of the Cold War».
«Explore an open world that lives by its own rules. Vertical location design, intense tactical battles, and an interactive global map require attentiveness and thoughtful decisions», says the description of ATOM RPG 2.
According to the developers, in the second part, players will engage in survival, construction, fishing, racing, and expanding their influence into new territories.
ATOM RPG 2 has a Steam page with no release date yet. It currently does not support Ukrainian localization.
Earlier, Atom Team added Ukrainian to its RPG Trudograd, set in the post-apocalyptic USSR. This angered Russian gamers, who launched a so-called «review bombing» on Steam.
ATOM RPG was developed by the international Atom Team, a group of developers from Latvia, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine. The team condemned Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine that began in February 2022.
«A week ago, Ukraine, the homeland of most of our team members, experienced a senseless and merciless war. Our friends had to leave their homes to ensure the safety and protection of their loved ones. Now everyone on our team is alive, but hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent people are dying every day,» the studio said .
Atom Team’s LinkedIn page currently does not mention Russian developers. It states that it is a «multinational indie game development studio based in Cyprus, Ukraine, and Latvia».
