Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization, noted that such men do not need to apply to the TCC and undergo a medical examination, and people aged 18 and over can generate a military registration document in the application.
In an interview with DOU, she said that previously the registry did not "see" information about those men who never registered and did not visit the TCC, but now it became possible thanks to the establishment of data exchange between the "Oberig" registry, the Unified Demographic Register and by the State Migration Service system services
Chernogorenko clarified that this approach is already in effect, but the project is experimental, because this format "enables to regulate processes that are not sufficiently taken into account by the legislation."
According to the deputy minister, the automatic registration of men aged 16-25 will continue for a year, and after that the digital team of the Ministry of Defense will prepare a report, "and if the result is positive, the process will be regulated by law."
According to Chernogorenko's arguments, this is necessary in order to register men who are abroad and so that they do not automatically become violators, as well as to relieve the TCC.
