"Don't be fooled by the idea that it's low-tech. You should appreciate this new Ukrainian McDonald's." Azhnyuk made an unexpected allegory between Ukrainian FPV drones and burgers. What parallels does he see?

CEO and founder of Fourth Law, as well as Co-founder of Odd Systems Yaroslav Azhnyuk commented on the accusations against the Ukrainian FPV drone industry, which, according to many, is supposedly low-tech.

«I keep hearing that some Ukrainian drone technologies are low tech. And recently I came up with a good allegory for this. Everyone knows that you can assemble an FPV drone yourself in the kitchen. You can also cook a burger at home in the kitchen, right? But it won’t be the same burger that you can order at McDonald’s,» Azhnyuk drew interesting parallels during his speech at the «Joint Ventures, Joint Defense» forum, which was attended by a dev.ua correspondent.

Developing his opinion further, Yaroslav Azhnyuk noted that Ukrainian drone industry enterprises offer a truly high level of quality and a wide variety of solutions.

«So don’t be fooled by the idea that this is low-tech. You should appreciate these new Ukrainian McDonald’s,» he told his European partners during the forum.

Yaroslav Azhnyuk believes that it is very important for Ukrainian companies to cooperate with partners within the country to the maximum extent possible, and to share expertise and best practices, rather than trying to necessarily limit the production of all components to themselves.

As for the products of his own Miltech startups, Azhnyuk assured that they are integrated with dozens of drone manufacturers — and this applies to both the TFL1 autonomous guidance modules and the Kurbas 256 and Kurbas 640 cameras.

As dev.ua wrote, CEO and founder of Fourth Law, as well as Co-founder of Odd Systems Yaroslav Azhnyuk criticized European arms manufacturers, as well as Europe’s attempts to «sit on two chairs» during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
