A representative of the Babay company told the Oboronka publication about this.
«PES Sirko» has a detection range of up to 2000 meters (depending on signal strength) and 360-degree coverage. It operates in the range from 150 to 6000 MHz, which allows it to detect FPV drones, DJI, Autel and other reconnaissance devices that use these frequencies.
«PES Sirko» can operate autonomously for 6–8 hours, using power from the built-in battery or the vehicle’s on-board network. The device has dimensions of 22×15×5 cm and weighs 2 kg, which allows it to be easily moved.
«The device is equipped with a „ZHYVL“ button with a light indicator that flashes when a signal is detected. If the signal level exceeds the set threshold, the detector emits a sound signal and announces the frequency of the detected signal with a voice. If the signal source is approaching, the detector warns with a voice command: „Closer“. When signals are not detected for a certain time, the voice reports: „The sky is clear, no signals found,“ and the indicator stops flashing,» Babay explains.
It is noted that the scanning speed is 3-5 seconds.
