Senior Product Designer Alena Svidina used AI to create and release the Balance — Couple Expenses App on the App Store. What are its capabilities?

«We did it, me and AI, without a single line of code by hand and everything is real: on swift, supabase database with real-time synchronization between partners, pushes, subscriptions, everything,» Svidina said on her LinkedIn.

The Balance app helps couples track who paid for what and split expenses «without confusion or awkward conversations.» Added purchases are instantly updated for both partners, allowing
understand the overall balance at any given time.

The app allows for individual percentage distributions and views of how much each user has contributed. Couples can add their names, avatars, and currency to create a shared profile. There is the ability to edit transactions and manage their partnership within the app.

Alena Svidina noted that she spent about half a year creating the application, but she didn’t give up and brought it to release. «Now the main question is how to integrate marketing,» added the Balance developer.
