«I became curious about how much time it would actually take to code something that worked. I chose the idea of a service that checks your resume for a specific vacancy, shows the gap between them and, conversely, the match points. Then I added a second function — analyzing the job description for the presence of „red flags“ that should be discussed during a screening call with a recruiter,» Zubenko said on his LinkedIn.
To develop the service, he used the Gemini AI, in which he created a Gem designed to help with programming in Cursor. The AI bot not only gave step-by-step instructions, but also provided explanations for each point.
«As a result, the project itself + the bug fixing process gave me a good understanding of what exactly I screwed up and what part of this homunculus is responsible for what. It all took 80-90 minutes,» said Maksym Zubenko.
The man said that he liked the development process, where Gem took on the role of mentor.
«The funniest test I can offer: take the coolest job vacancy and throw it into the „Stream Detector“,» advised the developer of «Baluvana Vala.»
He added that he plans to refine the prompts of the service and has already made several edits based on feedback from users.
Zubenko previously shared insights from a panel discussion at the NATO Innovation Range in Finland, where the startup was showcasing its products. According to him, a drone is now a basic battlefield tool, like an assault rifle.
