He added that Ukrposhta has implemented an application for employees that allows them to apply for leave. It also collects data on salaries, bonuses, the number of vacations and sick leave. sick leave.

He criticized the requirements to personally sign job applications and keep orders to do so for 75 years, calling them outdated processes and «modern nonsense.»
Ihor Smilyansky also answered the question about the opening of the Ukrposhta bank and compared it to the Amazon ecosystem.

According to him, the Ukrposhta ecosystem is that its users have an account, and the company can accept utility payments from the client, sell and deliver medicines or products, deliver parcels, and provide the opportunity to subscribe to magazines and newspapers. «For example, Amazon: there is an ecosystem there, and they know how to make money on it,» explained the head of Ukrposhta.
Smilyansky expects Ukrposhta’s banking services to be operational in the second half of 2025.

He also hinted that Ukrposhta is working on digitalizing the work of postmen, for whom special software is being developed that will run on their «mini-computers.»
