Clearing House Bank, owned by politician Sergei Lyovochkin’s sister, Yulia Lyovochkina, has launched mobile banking bank.kd with its own website and application.
As Forbes Ukraine reports, its model resembles a monobank, which operates under a license from UniversalBank, but has a separate website and application.
According to the bank’s marketing director, Gennady Vasiliev, bank.kd will focus on retail, not corporate, clients. He added that work on the project lasted several years.
«The current version is the second iteration of the project. The first version of the application did not satisfy the team and therefore did not reach users,» Vasiliev noted.
The development of the bank.kd application is estimated at $1 million. The old online banking MyBank365 will operate for some time, but the Clearing House plans to gradually transfer clients to the new application.
Currently, bank.kd is planning to launch the «Savings Account» service. It will allow you to receive interest on money in the account within one day and withdraw it without losing the interest already accrued.
Recall that earlier the Ukraine-Moldova American EnterpriseFund made an investment in the IT holding Fintech-IT Group, which developed the mono product ecosystem, with a valuation of over $1 billion.
