The Ministry of Defense is launching a fine payment service in the «Reserve+» application. It is currently starting a beta test.
«We are launching beta testing of fines payment in Reserve+. For now, we are launching it for fines in cases where account data was not updated on time. Later, we plan to add payment of fines for other accounting violations,» Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko reported on Facebook. She specified that after paying the fine, the search warrant for those liable for military service will be automatically removed. «There will be automatic removal. but the first launch will be only for searches issued in connection with untimely updating of contact data,» Chernogorenko wrote. At the same time, she did not explain how to be the one who will soon be held accountable for failure to update data.
The official also clarified that work is currently underway to develop a mechanism that would allow for military registration using «Reserve+».
According to her, all military registration violators who manage to pay their fines on time can pay only half the amount — 8,500 UAH.
«No queues. No visit to the CCC. This applies to those who have not updated their data by July 16, 2024. Because that’s what a digital service state should be like,» she noted.
«A person can choose the „pay a fine“ function and do it not for 17,000, but for 8,500 UAH.» Chernogorenko explained why the fines in the «Reserve» for traffic evasions were made by analogy with fines for traffic violations
