General QA Engineer Rostyslav Yanchinsky developed the free QA Interview Hub platform to help IT professionals systematize their knowledge and prepare for technical interviews.
The engineer took up the creation of the tool due to the lack of convenient and comprehensive solutions on the market. According to Rostyslav, the idea was born from his own pain while preparing for interviews, when all the training materials had to be kept in separate notes and notebooks.
"When I started preparing for interviews, everything was in a notebook and notes. It was scattered, it was inconvenient to repeat, so I started looking for a ready-made tool with a simple UI for structured learning, where there are tests, flashcards, and theory in one place. I didn't find anything interesting," Rostyslav Yanchinsky shared in his post on LinkedIn.
Unable to find a suitable service, the developer created his own gamified simulator — QA Interview Hub — using AI agents.
The free web resource is currently in beta and offers a database of materials for self-testing and learning:
15 interactive quizzes with a total of 673 questions;
495 articles in the structured knowledge base;
flashcards for review in key areas: Manual QA, Playwright, Cypress, TypeScript, SQL, API, System Design, CI/CD, AI, networks, logs, and observability;
a gamified interface that makes the learning process more engaging.
According to the author, the platform has already passed "field testing" among his colleagues and familiar specialists: "I tested it on myself and my QA environment - it's a really convenient tool. If you're preparing for an interview as a QA, then welcome."
Rostyslav Yanchinsky plans to develop QA Interview Hub together with the professional community. He encouraged colleagues to join the discussion of the content to jointly determine which topics should be added and which have lost relevance.
"It would be cool to gather a community where you can influence the content through voting and discussion. What to add next, and what is no longer relevant and time to remove. The site has a form for feedback and bug reports, I would be grateful for any suggestions for improving the platform," the author of the project concluded.
