As Fortune reports, nicotine startups Lucy and Sesh have installed branded vending machines in Palantir’s Washington office, filled with nicotine sachets that give employees a boost of energy and readiness for work.
Nicotine sachets, which are meant to be held between the tongue and cheek, are available free of charge at Palantir offices for employees and guests over the age of 21, a company spokesperson said. Palantir pays for the registration of these products.
Alex Cohen, founder of the AI-based medical app Hello Patient, said he also brought a nicotine pouch cooler to his Austin office, but the results didn’t live up to expectations.
«They were very productive, so I thought, ‘Maybe there’s something here,’» Cohen said.
Using two or three packs a day, he realized he had to stop because he noticed he was becoming addicted.
