In the first 9.5 hours after withdrawals resumed on November 1, customers withdrew $4.65 billion from the exchange. However, other users added $1.01 billion to their accounts.
So the net outflow was $3.64 billion or approximately 2.1% of all Binance assets. Therefore, the company assures that the largest influx of people wishing to withdraw their money has already passed, and the volume of withdrawals is gradually decreasing, and users continue to replenish their accounts
In addition, not all cryptocurrencies could be withdrawn at once. Initially, the exchange allowed withdrawals of Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and other popular assets. The withdrawals of the rest are promised to be resumed after additional security checks.

According to the bureau, the hacker group TraderTraitor is behind the hack. The attackers mainly transferred the stolen assets to Ethereum in order to further launder them through cryptocurrency services.
