Binance has allowed AI agents to trade cryptocurrencies on their own. How does it work?
Binance is launching Agent OS, a platform that allows AI agents to be connected to an exchange account. They will be able to monitor the market, check balances, analyze data, and with user permission, even trade cryptocurrencies.
Binance is launching Agent OS, a platform that allows AI agents to be connected to an exchange account. They will be able to monitor the market, check balances, analyze data, and with user permission, even trade cryptocurrencies.
In the simplest mode, the agent only reads data. For example, you can ask it to show your balance, find the current price of a coin, check funding rates, or view open positions. But you can give it much more freedom. Then the AI assistant will be able to trade Spot, Margin, and Futures, convert cryptocurrency, and transfer funds between different wallets within Binance.
The AI assistant is not allowed into the main account. A separate Agentic sub-account is created for it — in fact, a separate account inside Binance. It is empty, so the user himself transfers as much money there as he is willing to entrust to the agent.
Agent OS is not Binance’s first attempt to connect AI agents to users’ money. On March 3, 2026, the exchange launched its first AI Agent Skills, which already included a spot trading tool.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that WhiteBIT launched AI Hub, which allows you to connect Claude, Cursor, Codex, and OpenClaw directly to your trading account.
