The current market sentiment towards Bitcoin is becoming increasingly negative, Yahoo Finance reports. Data shows that the total volume of transactions at a loss has increased to a nine-month high. Over 235,850 BTC worth approximately $24 billion have been moved in the past 24 hours, indicating widespread panic selling among investors.
Such a large-scale loss-making move in Bitcoin indicates a decline in investor confidence and a rise in fear in the market. If this behavior continues, it could accelerate BTC’s decline, eroding capital and causing deeper losses in the cryptocurrency market.

Bitcoin is currently trading at $102,962, but on November 5, it fell below the psychological $100,000 mark and reached $99,008, after which it rebounded slightly.
Some experts believe this is confirmation of the forecast of a 13,6% decline in value to $89,94. However, if investors start buying at lower levels, Bitcoin could bounce off $100,000 and re-conquer the $105,000 mark or higher.
Recall that at its peak in September 2025, Bitcoin was worth almost $125,000. It first broke the $100,000 mark in December 2024, and last fell below this figure in June 2025.
