Bitget launches PRO mode with personalized services for institutional clients and VIP traders
Bitget, a leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, has announced the launch of Bitget PRO, a new program designed to meet the needs of institutional clients and VIP traders. The program is aimed at participants with high trading volumes and offers an optimized trading environment with a number of benefits: reduced commissions, more favorable rates, asset custody, lending, higher API request limits, and increased withdrawal limits.
Bitget, a leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, has announced the launch of Bitget PRO, a new program designed to meet the needs of institutional clients and VIP traders. The program is aimed at participants with high trading volumes and offers an optimized trading environment with a number of benefits: reduced commissions, more favorable rates, asset custody, lending, higher API request limits, and increased withdrawal limits.
These improvements are designed to ensure efficient capital allocation and support complex trading strategies in any market conditions. The criteria for participation in Bitget PRO are automated: selection takes place daily at 09:00 (UTC+8), and benefits and commissions depend on the PRO level. To obtain PRO level 1, at least 20% of trading turnover over the last 30 days must be carried out via the API. Users who do not meet the requirements are automatically reverted to VIP status. Bitget also offers programs for market makers and brokers, which open up additional opportunities for interaction with the platform ecosystem.

Bitget PRO is designed to become a base for leading market participants — with a high level of security and the ability to test products that meet the needs of high-frequency trading,” commented Bitget CEO Gracie Chen.
Bitget PRO is an extension of the VIP offering. While the VIP level is primarily aimed at retail and manual traders, Bitget PRO is geared towards institutional API trading. PRO users receive technical benefits, including increased API limits, priority support, and direct communication with the Bitget API team for ongoing optimization. In addition, PRO members will have access to institutional credit, increased withdrawal limits, secure private connections, and a larger number of sub-accounts, all of which create an efficient environment for large-scale trading.
Earlier this year, Bitget launched Institutional Lending, which allows for up to 5x leverage in spot trading, with plans to expand into derivatives. The platform has also improved its OTC services and partnered with custodian providers Cobo and Fireblocks to enhance security. Bitget also updated its Unified Accounts feature, which allows experienced traders to trade multiple pairs within a single account.
The launch of Bitget PRO is another step towards creating an infrastructure focused on institutional users. With the increasing participation of institutional investors in the crypto markets, Bitget continues to develop tools and services that meet the needs of algorithmic, high-frequency and high-volume trading.
