Popular blogger Bohdana Honcharuk found herself at the epicenter of a scandal due to audio that was shared online, where she allegedly gives advice on financial transactions with Russia and Belarus.
The audio was shared on the Threads network by another blogger, Maksym Skybynsky, the author of the channel «Skiby True».
The audio in Russian shows a conversation between a woman who appears to be Bohdana Honcharuk and someone who asked her for advice. The woman, based on her own experience, gives advice on a number of legally questionable financial transactions, in particular, on withdrawing funds from third parties in the Russian Federation and Belarus.
«Payments from Russia and Belarus — I have two people there who I trust. They have cards, I transfer to them, and then I either spend in Russia, and from the Belarusian card they withdraw money to my Moldovan one. From the Russian card, I also know how to withdraw to the Ukrainian one… The banks have no questions at all. Nobody cares,» Honcharuk seems to be telling his interlocutor.
Then, it seems, Honcharuk also gives his interlocutor various kinds of advice regarding individual entrepreneurs and withdrawing funds, saying that he makes his payments through Mono and Privat, as well as referring to bank secrecy and assuring the safety of such transactions.
Interestingly, the blogger herself often focuses on the issue of financial success in her videos, telling stories about how easy it is to become a millionaire.
In the comments to this post, Monobank co-owner Oleg Horohovsky stated that he had passed this information on to the financial monitoring service, promising that the bank could at least refuse to service such a client.
