BlueBird Tech launches first aid courses with combat scenarios and artificial blood: what will be taught and how to enroll
BlueBird Tech Academy is launching first aid courses, where participants will be taught to save lives in conditions as close to real-life as possible — with simulated injuries, artificial blood, and stressful scenarios where decisions must be made in seconds.
BlueBird Tech Academy is launching first aid courses, where participants will be taught to save lives in conditions as close to real-life as possible — with simulated injuries, artificial blood, and stressful scenarios where decisions must be made in seconds.
The courses are conducted by professional doctors with combat medical experience and scientific degrees. The training is based on international protocols TCCC, TECC, First Aid and Stop the Bleed.
The program is adapted to both combat and civilian emergencies.
Upon completion, participants take a test and receive a certificate of successful training.
What will participants be able to do after the course?
stop critical bleeding;
conduct an examination of the victim using the MARCH and CABCDE algorithms;
correctly apply tourniquets and bandages;
to act harmoniously in a team under psychological pressure.
The key difference between the course and standard first aid programs is the format of the training. Instead of theory in the classroom, participants are put into realistic simulations: «wounded» extras, artificial blood, imitation of chaos. This is how they practice what in a real situation is impossible to learn from slides — motor memory and the ability not to get lost.
The TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) and TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) protocols are standards used to train military medics and rescuers in NATO countries. Their adaptation for a civilian audience is especially relevant in wartime, when basic first aid skills can be critically important for any person.
The price for classes starts from 2,000 UAH, provided that classes are held at the BlueBird Tech Academy location. In the case of organizing an off-site training, the price starts from 2,300 UAH. This is the cost of a one-day training course, which lasts 7 hours, including breaks. Groups are formed from 5 to 12 participants.
The cost of a two-day course under the TCCC and BZVP programs is 4,000 UAH per person. The number of participants in the group for a two-day course is the same — from 5 to 12 people.
