This was stated by BlueBird Tech CEO Valery Zarubin in an interview with the Flash Army YouTube channel.
According to Zarubin, among the specialists joining Ukrainian defense tech are R&D engineers and specialists with academic experience. Some of them are currently working abroad.
"Those Ukrainians who left, a huge number of them, still want to be useful to Ukraine. These are people with academic knowledge, including R&D specialists. Wherever they are, they are ready to change their high-paying jobs in international companies and join Ukrainian developments, because they care," said Zarubin.
At the same time, BlueBird Tech is not only interested in a candidate’s previous experience. The company is also looking for engineers with strong potential and a willingness to grow with the team.
BlueBird Tech’s engineering team is constantly changing. According to the CEO, the company may launch new areas of work under specific specialists if their expertise meets the development needs.
BlueBird Tech is a Ukrainian defense tech company that develops unmanned systems. Zarubin previously told dev.ua that among the challenges for Ukrainian miltech is dependence on components from China and the need to develop its own engineering expertise.
