"The coercive mechanism will undermine the trust of millions of users". Bornyakov assured that summonses to Diia are still not planned

Acting Minister of Digital Transformation Oleksandr Bornyakov said that the Ministry of Digital Transformation is working to minimize bureaucracy for military personnel but is not developing electronic summons functionality.

Bornyakov noted this in an interview with SPEKA.

«The Ministry of Digital Transformation is not considering, developing, or planning to implement electronic summonses either in Diia or in our other products. This is a fundamental position that remains unchanged,» said the Acting Minister of Digital Transformation.

According to Oleksandr Bornyakov, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is building an Agentic State, where people can receive services, open a business, or get married «literally in one click».

«If we turn this tool into a coercive mechanism, it will undermine the trust of millions of users,» the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation believes.

He added that his ministry seeks to minimize bureaucracy in the defense sector. To this end, the procedures for obtaining statuses are being digitized, and defense innovations are being developed through the Brave1 cluster.

Oleksandr Bornyakov also said that by the end of the year, the Ministry of Transport plans to launch more than 20 new services. For citizens, the following services are planned: an electronic queue for cars at the border, an electronic European protocol for registering a traffic accident without the police, online weapons permits, online divorce for couples without children, and the launch of the European digital wallet eWallet.

Businesses will receive «Diia.Pidpys» for legal entities, online account opening for LLCs, quick registration of public organizations, and electronic military registration.

Recall that the Ministry of Digital and Defense plans to restrict the participation of military personnel in gambling for the period of martial law. The ban will apply to offline gambling establishments and online casinos. The restrictions are planned to be implemented through state electronic registers, and data exchange will take place through the Trembita system.
