American company CourtAvenue, from the Inc. 5000 list, is acquiring a controlling stake in BotsCrew, a Ukrainian company that creates customized chatbots for businesses. The top management and the entire team in Ukraine will be retained, dev.ua learned.
This was announced by the founders of BotsCrew — Maksym Gladysh, Nazar Gembara and Oleg Pylypchak. The company has Virgin Holidays, Honda, Mars, FIBA among its clients, and has been operating in the AI market since 2016. The company does not disclose the amount of the deal.
BotsCrew develops solutions in the areas of Healthcare, E-commerce, Travel, Government, Process Automation. The Lviv team created their first chatbot at a hackathon in 2016. After a series of hackathon victories and the appearance of their first client, the Italian travel startup Musement, they decided to turn it into a full-fledged business.
BotsCrew currently has 60 employees. The majority of the BotsCrew team is based in Ukraine with its main office in Lviv. The company plans to actively hire people in Ukraine.
CourtAvenue from the USA creates AI solutions and has grown by 4,000% in the last 3 years. Its clients include Kia, Epson, Dell, US Air Force. Adweek recognized the company in the category of Adweek’s Fastest Growing Agencies, and in the Inc. 5000's ranking among private companies with the fastest growth they take 58th place.
Negotiations to purchase the company’s Ukrainian chatbot developer have been ongoing since May 2024.
