As Amazing Drones CEO Maksym Klymenko told UNIAN in an interview, specialists write their own software for drones and integrate it with radars.
«We set ourselves the goal of developing a fully automated anti-aircraft drone complex, which would reduce the load on the pilot. Because there is currently a shortage of pilots for air defense drones. Shooting down air targets is a difficult task that requires training and experience from pilots. We have already developed the board itself, and thanks to our „software“ and integration with radars, it is able to take off on its own, gain altitude, find a target and reach it at a speed of 280 km per hour, and in some areas it accelerates to 300 km. And this is not the limit — it can be faster,» he noted.
Klymenko said that the company is currently working in the R&D format. «We are moving towards creating an inexpensive fully automated anti-aircraft drone complex. This is our focus now. We are nominees for several grants from Brave1. The company is still small — about a dozen people,» he said.
The specialists also developed a targeting and pilot assistance system that indicates exactly where the enemy aircraft is in the sky. Amazing Drones is currently focused on developing software and ground stations for the anti-aircraft complex. «But to complete the project in a short time, we need additional funding,» Klymenko added.
