The Brave1 defense cluster continues to develop the Ukrainian missile program. Mykhailo Fedorov reported on new grant competitions for developers. The goal is to create long-range weapons and effective air defense systems.
Last year, the government removed legislative barriers, opening up the private market for rocket production. Brave1 has launched a number of grant programs that are already showing results.
Thus, thanks to a grant, Scopa Industries began production of a jet engine with auto-start, which provides a rocket flight of 250 km.
It is noted that the engine is simple, reliable and quick to produce, and it is already being supplied to other Ukrainian manufacturers.
New contests announced by Brave1 include:
Tactical ballistic missiles are a project designed to create a domestic analogue of the American Himars system.
Anti-aircraft missile systems designed to counter enemy drones.
Developers who will participate in the competitions, after verification and signing a non-disclosure agreement, will be able to receive over UAH 100 million for their projects. Applications are accepted until September 9.
You can view the full list of grant areas and apply for the competition on the official website of the Brave1 program.
