The Kharkiv IT Cluster counted how many IT professionals have reservations. Spoiler alert - there are significantly more of them than in the summer. Why is that?

The number of booked IT specialists in Ukraine has increased.
The number of reserved IT specialists in Ukraine has increased, writes DOU, citing data from the Kharkiv IT Cluster. Up to 20,000 IT specialists have reservations.
According to the cluster’s estimates, approximately 18,000–20,000 IT professionals are currently booked. For comparison, in June 2025, the number of booked IT professionals was estimated to be between 15,000–18,000 specialists. The cluster believes that the growth was mainly due to bookings by companies operating in the deftech sector.
At the same time, a recent DOU survey showed that 13% of men in IT who are in Ukraine have a reservation from their main employer and another 4% received a reservation at a second, secondary job. Usually, it is not related to IT. At the same time, 44% of the IT workers surveyed did not have a reservation.
