As a result of another Russian attack on Kyiv, the building of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) was damaged. There were no injuries among the students, teachers, or the institution’s operations team, and restoration work began at 7 a.m. The educational process at the university is not being suspended.
This was announced by KSE President Timofey Mylovanov on his Facebook page.
According to the head of the university, the scale of the destruction this time is significantly less than during previous enemy strikes on the capital. The institution’s operational services promptly began eliminating the consequences of the shelling, including repairing the damaged facade and replacing broken windows.
«Our KSE was damaged again. No one was hurt, we were lucky. It’s okay, we’ll recover. This time the damage is less, and the operations team has been repairing and restoring since 7 am. We’re not stopping the training,» said Timofey Mylovanov.
This is not the first time that the university building has come under attack. On May 24, 2026, the KSE buildings were already seriously damaged by a blast wave during the shelling of the capital.
The night strike on Ukraine on July 2, 2026 was one of the largest in recent times. Russia launched more than 70 missiles, almost half of which were ballistic, and about 500 attack drones. The main blow fell on the capital, where the death toll rose to 17 people. In addition to residential buildings and a scientific institute, civilian and technological infrastructure suffered significant damage.
