Ukrainian reconnaissance drone manufacturer and specialized software developer Buntar Aerospace has raised $16 million in a new funding round. The company has raised a total of $30 million in investments.
This is reported by Forbes Ukraine with reference to the company’s press release. The deal was led by Freedom Fund and one of the international private equity funds. Gardar, Iron Wolf and Autonomy Capital funds also joined the round.
The raised capital will be used to expand production capacities, accelerate product development, and strengthen the team with experienced engineers and managers.
Buntar Aerospace currently manufactures the Buntar-3 reconnaissance drone and is working on Buntar Copilot software, which helps operators make decisions directly during combat missions. The company plans to further improve this software and enter international markets with dual-purpose technologies.
Buntar Aerospace previously raised $10.4 million in investment to develop intelligence collection and processing technology. The round was led by Axon Enterprise, a global security solutions giant.
