«We’ve been working on this for a long time and, with some excitement, I’m finally ready to present my app,» the project’s author wrote in Threads.
Camvi is designed for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, travel, gender-neutral parties, and other events where dozens of people are taking photos. The organizer creates an event and invites participants — with individual invitations or via a QR code that can be printed or displayed on the screen.

Once you join, all of your guests' photos automatically go into a shared gallery. Users can view, like, save, or share photos on social media.
One of the app’s features is the ability to hide photos until the event is over or make them available at a specific time. According to the developer, this can be useful if organizers want to share photos after the event.
In addition to the mobile app, Camvi has a web version with a slideshow. Photos can be displayed on a large screen in almost real time — new frames automatically appear in the gallery during the event.
According to the author, using Camvi is free for events with up to 10 participants. There is no limit to the number of such free events.
The app is currently available in the App Store, and the team is already looking for testers for the upcoming Android version.
