The digitalization of the Astarta holding is being worked on by the IT development department, which will now be headed by Tkachenko, and the internal IT company AgriChain, headed by Natalia Bohacheva. Together, they have 102 employees, Forbes Ukraine reports .
Mykola Tkachenko has almost 20 years of experience in digital transformation, IT management and implementation of technological solutions at leading Ukrainian enterprises in various industries - from telecommunications to the agricultural sector and public administration. He held management positions at SE Prozorro, Amdocs, Kyivstar and Kovalska. In 2017-2020, Tkachenko worked at Astart, including as Deputy Director of the Information Technology Development Department, the company said in a release.
His key functional responsibilities in the agricultural holding will include digital business transformation, implementation of modern IT solutions (including ERP systems and AI-based technologies), integration of digital products into operational processes, production automation, and ensuring the company's information security.
Tkachenko decided to join Astarta a month and a half ago, amid a change in the leadership of the Ministry of Economy.
“I decided to give the new head of the ministry a chance to form a team on his own,” Tkachenko told Forbes Ukraine.
According to Forbes' interlocutor close to Prozorro, the state-owned enterprise already has a new director. YouControl still lists Tkachenko as the company's head.
