In order to implement the plan, it is necessary to grow 5 times, is it possible in a five-year period?
Valery Krasovskyi answered this question during the new issue of the Forbes Ukraine — Business Breakfast project.
«When you build a serious business in different countries, you want to achieve an interesting goal. I think this goal is interesting. It is supported by our team and co-founders. I am sure that we will be able to move very actively towards this,» said Krasovsky about his ambitious goal.
In order to make the growth path easier, the company started investing in food companies. One of the first such investments was in 2008.
The second step was the creation in 2019 of Sigma Software Labs — an ecosystem for Ukrainian startups, where they can get support from a large consulting company and take advantage of all the advantages of a wide base of contacts — serial entrepreneurs, partners, venture funds.
According to Krasovsky, Sigma Software Labs has approximately 20 investments in both customer and third-party product companies.
«This is a win-win system. We can offer our customers product solutions, and we help product companies enter new markets and receive new orders,» explained Krasovsky.
And the third step is the venture fund Sid Venture Partners, which was launched in December 2021. During this time, they invested in AI and quantum compiting, as well as such well-known Ukrainian startups as Liki24 and NewHomesMate (a Ukrainian-American startup), etc.
During the Business Breakfast, Valery Krasovskyi also noted that Sigma Software’s revenue grew by 5% and the company hopes to return to pre-war indicators (25-30% growth) within a few years. In 2025, growth by 15% is expected.
