The feature is part of GPT-5 and will begin rolling out to Pro users worldwide this week, followed by Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu plans later, OpenAI said in a blog post.
To enable, you need to go to Settings → Connectors → Connections in the application.
For those who already use Gmail or Google Calendar for deep learning, these tools can now also be used directly in chat. However, deep learning still requires you to enable and select each connector individually for each new session.
The update also expands the available connectors for Plus and Pro plans. New additions include Box, Canva, Dropbox, HubSpot, Notion, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams, which will begin rolling out this week.
In addition to the updated connectors, GPT-5 now has three modes: Auto, Fast, and Thinking. Plus subscribers can make 3,000 queries per week in Thinking mode, and when that limit is reached, GPT-5 Thinking mini is activated.
After announcing the return of GPT-4o due to negative feedback, OpenAI has finally added it to the model selection for all paid accounts. The company also added a “Show additional models” toggle in the ChatGPT web interface and left GPT-4.5 exclusive to Pro users due to GPU power limitations.
