“Santa is rolling out to all ChatGPT platforms today and is available until the end of the month… then he will return to the North Pole,” the company said.
Users can access Santa by clicking on the snowflake icon next to the tooltip or through the voice settings.
The feature works in mobile apps for iOS and Android, on the chatgpt.com website, as well as in OpenAI's apps for Windows and macOS. The voice option with Santa will be available to users worldwide by early January, writes Ars Technica.
Every conversation with ChatGPT Santa becomes temporary by default, without affecting chat history or memory.
