Thanks to this, some vacancies can be filled in just one day, and in general, up to 50% of the company's hiring is already done with the support of AI.
This was stated by Vitaliy Nuzhny, head of Ciklum in Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria, in an interview with LIGA.net.
According to him, one of the most successful cases was the implementation of a special AI agent for the recruiting team.
"We have developed an AI agent for recruiting that checks the resume for compliance with our requirements, suggests additional questions to better understand the candidate, and looks for alternative positions in the company for him. Human interaction is still present here, but AI allows us to significantly speed up the hiring process," the top manager noted.
Vitaliy Nuzhny added that the company already has cases where vacancies were closed in one day thanks to new technologies, and emphasized: “Up to half of Ciklum’s hiring is already done with the help of AI.”
In addition to staffing, artificial intelligence significantly optimizes the work of technical specialists. In particular, algorithms help instantly find the necessary data in large amounts of information.
“If a programmer needs to check information about certain functions in a database of 50,000 vectors, AI can do it 10 times faster and cheaper. It works like a glossary: to find the right word, you don’t flip through 50,000 pages, but immediately go to a specific one,” explained the head of the regional office.
The use of AI assistants also affects direct code writing, although the effectiveness of the technology varies depending on the direction and architecture of the project.
"They say that AI assistants help generate 20-30% of the code base. But it all depends on the type of project: if we are talking about large old monolithic projects that are being rewritten into microservices, then it can be much faster. In the frontend, AI significantly speeds up development, while the backend lags behind a little in this regard," Vitaliy Nuzhny concluded.
