“This is the most requested feature from our business team and enterprise customers,” Anthropic product manager Scott White told TechCrunch.
With this integration, Anthropic will strengthen its position in the market, competing with similar tools from Google and GitHub, which have had corporate support from the very beginning.
Launched in June, Claude Code quickly became one of the most popular tools, offering a more agent-based approach than traditional IDE-based tools. That popularity came with some growth challenges, as individual users of the service encountered unexpected usage limits. The new enterprise offering is partly a response to these issues, allowing companies to set granular cost controls that can scale for heavy usage.
Anthropic is particularly bullish on the integrations between Claude Code and the Claude.ai chatbot, which can now be managed more flexibly in an enterprise environment. Companies subscribing to the new package can develop prompts for Claude Code in conjunction with the Claude chatbot or integrate the command-line tool more deeply into internal data sources.
White says that when he was working on Claude.ai, the integration with customer feedback tools was a game-changer. Claude helped summarize large volumes of feedback from different sources and translate it into specific product changes.
“There’s something magical about combining customer feedback, hearing their needs, and prototyping solutions to their unique problems,” White said. “As a product manager, that was simply impossible for me even a year ago.”
