The new feature allows you to connect apps and tools directly to Claude. In addition, Claude can search not only the web, but also Google Workspace. It takes between 5 and 45 minutes to compile a full report.
The Integrations feature is built on the open standard Model Context Protocol (MCP), which allows Claude to receive context from connected services. Now Claude can work with remote MCP servers not only locally, but also over the Internet. Users can connect the most popular services to Claude, including: Jira, Confluence, Zapier, Asana, Cloudflare, PayPal, Square, Linear, Sentry, Plaid and Intercom.
Support from GitLab, Stripe, and others is expected, and developers can also create their own integrations in just 30 minutes.
When you connect your tools to Claude, it gets deep context for your work—understanding project history, task statuses, and organizational knowledge.
Claude has learned to break down complex queries into parts, analyze them separately, and compile them into a consolidated report. This allows for deeper research from dozens of internal and external sources with clear attribution for each piece of information. This feature is similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
While most reports are completed in 5-15 minutes, Claude can spend up to 45 minutes on more in-depth research.
Integrations and Research are available in beta for Max, Team, and Enterprise subscriptions, and coming soon to Pro. Web Search is now available to all paid users.
