Nadella shared a video of Microsoft executives talking to the company’s artificial intelligence on his Twitter account. «Three Microsoft executives walk into a room for the company’s 50th anniversary… and give an interview to Copilot!», — he wrote.
In this video, Nadella asks Copilot to ask executives something and maybe even «fry» them. The chatbot agreed to add some spice to the conversation. It first started making fun of Ballmer.
«Your enthusiasm is legendary, but don’t you worry that your energy might short-circuit an AI? I mean, even robots need a coffee break after your pep talks», — the AI said.
Steve Ballmer was amused by this response, but not offended: «Come on, man. If you can’t handle me, you can’t handle a huge percentage of the world’s population. We’re counting on you».

Next in line was the legendary CEO and co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates.
«Bill, you have your trademark pensive look, but have you ever thought that an AI might get scared by your intense, thoughtful face? I mean, it’s like waiting for the blue screen to appear».
The Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) is the name given to a critical error message in the Microsoft Windows or ReactOS operating system. Since it is almost impossible to restore normal system performance after this message appears, it is usually preceded by a reboot.
The Blue Screen of Death first appeared in Windows NT version 3.1 and became a topic for jokes and negative comments about Microsoft Windows systems among IT professionals.
Microsoft recently announced that it is going to replace the blue screen with a «calmer» green one in Windows 11.
In response, Gates said, «I hope so. I mean, that’s all I have left if these AIs get that damn smart. The only thing that sets me apart is this view and my willingness to criticize».
To Nadella’s criticism, Copilot decided to beat the replacement of human labor with AI.
«Sati, AI seems to be your best friend. But don’t you worry that your deep passion for AI might one day make it run the show, and all you have to do is enjoy the ride?» the AI asked the current head of Microsoft.
Nadella used an analogy with the game of cricket. «Well, the day that AI can play like the best cricketer I like, that’s when it can run the show, I think,» he said.
At the end of the video, Copilot toasts to the next 50 years of Microsoft’s prosperity and says «let’s do it».
«Whatever that means for artificial intelligence. Does it drink?», — Bill Gates sarcastically commented on the AI’s remark.
Earlier, the Microsoft co-founder talked about how he wrote the Altair BASIC code, which began the corporation’s journey. According to Gates, it was the «coolest code» he had ever written, and he feels proud of its role in shaping the PC industry.
