Defense technology developer BUREVII launches communications academy for the military
The main goal of the initiative is to help the Defense Forces overcome the acute shortage of qualified signalers by converting real-world combat experience into structured knowledge and new protocols.

Ukrainian engineering company BUREVII, specializing in the development of battlefield solutions, announced the launch of its own educational project - BUREVII Academy.
Due to the rapid robotization of war and the massive use of unmanned systems (both UAVs and ground drones), the need for specialists is growing at a rapid pace. Currently, we are talking about tens of thousands of military personnel who need to master complex systems, but many lack a technical background. State training centers and volunteer initiatives often do not have time to adapt to the dynamics of modern warfare.
"We have been working with the military for years, consulting, seeing their needs from the inside. Last year we started training - at direct requests from units and subdivisions. The requests were increasing, and we realized: we need to scale up," explained Viktor Dolgopyatov, chief designer and director of KB BUREVII.
It is noted that even before the official launch of the project, engineers managed to train about 200 military personnel.
The BUREVII Academy program is based on proven practices and real-world cases from the front. The company's engineers constantly analyze which equipment works in combat and which does not, and update the methods accordingly.
Currently, training is conducted in the following areas:
Communication physics and local area network configuration.
General military communications.
Specifics of communication on ground robotic complexes (GRC), armored vehicles and UAVs.
NRC deployment and management architecture.
Only active military personnel can take part in the training. This requires an official request from the military unit. The training programs are funded by the BUREVII company itself, as well as with the support of charitable foundations and international donors.
In addition, the company plans to turn the academy into an intellectual hub for the exchange of experience between developers and the military and is open to attracting new partners.
