This is stated in the investigation of the UP into businessman Timur Mindich, whose name is associated with this company, reports Economic Truth.
According to UP sources in law enforcement agencies, in January 2025, NABU addressed the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine with an official request to disclose the movement of funds of the Fire Point company, but in response to this request, the agency has still not provided the specified information.
The material also notes that in November 2024 alone, two contracts worth over UAH 7 billion were signed with this company.
At the same time, UP sources in the defense sector note that the Fire Point company received not only funding from the state budget, but also funds from Western partners.
In addition, it is reported that after the NABU investigation into the company began and information emerged about a potential connection with Timur Mindich, Fire Point’s management decided to sell its stake to a buyer from Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, according to the AIN publication, Denis Shtilerman, the chief designer of the Fire Point company, which is the manufacturer of the Flamingo missile and a number of drone models, has Russian citizenship .
