State Customs Service has added AI to its services. How this will simplify the procedure for importing cars into Ukraine

The press service of the State Customs Service reported on the simplification of customs procedures thanks to the introduction of artificial intelligence into the work of the service’s services.

The message refers to the update of the " Import of a passenger car " section in the Personal Account on the «Single Window for International Trade» portal.

From now on, customs declarations can be formed even easier and faster. In particular, artificial intelligence will be responsible for:

• Recognition of vehicle characteristics by VIN code — just enter the VIN, and the system will automatically try to find the vehicle’s technical data.
• Automatic filling of part of the declaration columns based on the photo of the vehicle registration certificate — simply upload an image of the document and artificial intelligence will read all possible characteristics of the car contained in the vehicle registration certificate. The system will suggest the rest of the data based on the VIN.
