A new round of funding has boosted the valuation of robotics company Deus Robotics by a third. The investment was made by Ukrainian funds.
The new round of financing was led by the Ukrainian fund u.ventures, Forbes Ukraine reports.
Investments totaling $3 million were also made by Ukrainian companies 1991.vc, SID VP, Sigma Software Labs, and the SD Capital investment company of Andriy Stavnitser and Philip Hrushko.
Thus, the amount of investment in Deus Robotics increased to $6.6 million. And the new valuation of the startup has increased by a third and now amounts to $20 million.
The new funds raised will go towards scaling the team and product in the UK.
This spring, it was reported that Deus Robotics was producing two types of robots: sorting and cargo. In Ukraine, the startup sold robots (in particular, to Novaya Poshta), and in foreign markets it rented them out on a subscription basis.
In the fall of 2024, it became known that Deus Robotics had changed its strategy and began only installing its software on other companies' robots instead of assembling its own. This represents millions of dollars in savings.
