A ninth-grader created an AI architect for startups so they wouldn't have to "agonize over choosing a stack for 2 weeks"

According to a novice IT professional, under the hood of IdeaSpark is the following stack:

• Frontend/Backend: Next.js 16 (App Router) + TypeScript. UI: Tailwind v4 + shadcn/ui;
• Database/Auth: Firebase/Firestore;
• AI: Google Genkit + Groq API (Llama 4 Scout).

The developer claims that the generation speed is almost 1000 tokens/sec.

"I'm still learning, so I put together the project using AI tools (this is my best mentor right now). I really need feedback from experienced devs: how adequate is the architecture my architect is producing?" Vladislav noted.

After receiving advice from experienced IT professionals, the novice IT professional announced an update to the project.

"At first it was as formulaic as possible: — "AI-powered platform" — the same technologies — essentially copies of existing services. So I got a little confused and redesigned the system," Vladislav reported two days after the first post.

Among the changes:

• added a check for clones (so as not to repeat obvious ideas);
• an explanation appeared of what the real novelty was;
• made a division by domains (gaming / AI / fintech, etc.);
• added a stage where the model itself criticizes the result;
• removed unnecessary overengineering in the stack;
• added weaknesses and what to cut from the MVP;
• made a more coherent logic between idea and architecture.

“Now the answers look much more “alive”, not like the typical AI generation. I understand that there is still room for growth, but it is already much better,” Vladyslav summed up his changes.

And although, as noted in the comments, all this can be done using ChatGPT, the project is “powerful” for a 15-year-old schoolboy. “I was collecting bottles to play Sega when I was 15,” joked a Reddit user.
