The enemy drone flew into the brigade's area of responsibility on February 10 and was eliminated during one of its first combat missions. The downing was carried out by a Ukrainian interceptor drone "General Chereshnya AIR" - the manufacturer's flagship aircraft. The brigade reported this on its Facebook page.
The event is significant because the Klin is a completely new development of the Russian military-industrial complex. Its official presentation took place only four months ago, in October 2025.
The developers positioned the drone as an “invulnerable” device with artificial intelligence, capable of autonomously detecting and hitting targets at a distance of up to 120 km. However, in practice, Ukrainian soldiers quickly found a countermeasure to the new threat.
This "shaheda-like" seeking munition has a specific aerodynamic scheme: a delta-shaped wing combined with a front horizontal tail and a keel in the upper part of the body. The cost of one such wing is estimated at $35,000.

Warhead: 5 kg (cumulative or high-explosive).
Take-off weight: 13.5 kg.
Dimensions: length - 1.6 m, wingspan - 1.9 m.
Flight altitude: up to 2 km.
Features: presence of an air-blast system and claimed autonomy thanks to AI.
This is not the first time that the 118th Motorized Rifle Brigade has intercepted rare Russian developments. Earlier, on August 22, 2025, fighters from the same brigade were the first to destroy a unique Orlan-30 drone-mother, which was carrying two FPV drones for dropping.
