According to Forbes Ukraine, document sharing in «Diia» — when a user sends an electronic copy of a passport or other documents to the bank — will become paid for financial institutions from June 1.
The bank will pay a one-time fee of UAH 21,617 for connecting to the service, and then UAH 9.8 for each successful sharing. The average number of document sharings through «Diia» exceeds 1.3 million per month, the publication quotes Oleksiy Vovk, head of the «Diya» implementation team.
«Every month, tens of thousands of accounts are opened online through Diia,» said the head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Mykhailo Fedorov, at DOU Day. «For example, 22,000 were opened with Monobank in one day.» According to him, financial institutions are ready to pay for this.
Currently, sharing only applies to ID cards and passports. Multi-sharing includes 14 documents, including ID cards, passports, tax numbers (RNOKPP), income certificates, etc., the press service of the Ministry of Digital Affairs reported. In regular sharing, all the same documents are available, except for the income certificate.
In the future, «Diia» will become a marketplace where businesses can launch their own services and use state infrastructure. It is likely that businesses will be able to pay for placing their services on the «Diia» platform after passing state verification. This approach has been implemented in Estonia, where e-residents of the country gain access to a paid marketplace with private services verified by the state.
The Ministry of Digital Affairs also plans to monetize Diia.Signature for legal entities, says Vovk from the Ministry of Digital Affairs. «This will allow businesses to sign documents online using an electronic signature directly through Diia,» he adds.
The ministry also plans to launch the Diia.OAuth electronic identification service. «Thanks to this solution, partners will be able to identify their users through interaction with the Diia Portal,» says Vovk.
