The state-owned enterprise plans to purchase a separate individual cloud environment for data processing, the «Private Virtual Cloud» .
According to the tender documentation, «Diya» is going to use 42 servers of various configurations, as well as 6 GPU graphics accelerators, 78 vSAN All Flash disks, 6 SSD data storage devices of at least 17.5 TB, and 18 nlSAS data storage devices.
There is also a point in the documentation: if the participant plans to use VMware hypervisor software, the VMware by Broadcom website (https://expert.broadcom.com/cloud_svcs) must provide confirmation that the participant has a status of a partner in the provision of cloud services (VMware Cloud Services Provider) not lower than PREMIER PARTNER.
Recall that this summer, the American company Broadcom officially announced that the current VMware Cloud Partner Program (VCSP) will close on October 31, 2025. Instead, a new one will start on November 1 — «by invitation only,» that is, available only to selected players.
So some Ukrainian data centers may have a problem with the lack of new VMware partner status.
