84% of all IT professionals in the country already work in the «Diia.City» space, and the main driver of this expansion has been defense technologies, artificial intelligence, and R&D, which are accumulating more and more engineering personnel.
The number of specialists in resident companies in the legal and tax space has crossed the 206,000 mark, reports the Diia.City press service. In total, the special legal and tax regime already unites more than 4,500 companies.
According to the IT Research Ukraine 2025 study by the Lviv IT Cluster, the total number of IT professionals in Ukraine is about 245 thousand. This means that 84% of all Ukrainian IT specialists currently work in resident companies of «Diia.City».
Let us remind you that in «Diia.City» companies can choose between an employment contract, a GIG contract, and a sole proprietorship model.
At the same time, the classic FOP model is currently used by only 5% of specialists in the space. Most specialists have switched to employment contracts and GIG contracts, which provide more social guarantees for employees and understandable management tools for business, notes «Diia.City».
