A free AI school for young people is being launched in Ukraine. What are the selection criteria and how to apply?

The program is designed for those who want to move from simple requests to ChatGPT to the systematic use of artificial intelligence in their studies, work, and their own projects. No previous experience in creating AI tools is required.

Experts from the fields of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, creative industries, and cybersecurity will join the teaching. Among them are practitioners who implement AI solutions in business, train company teams to work with new technologies, create AI content for Ukrainian and international brands, and consult international organizations on digital literacy and security issues.

Participants will work with free versions of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM, and other tools. They will learn how to formulate effective queries, provide models with the necessary context, verify the reliability of generated information, and select tools for specific tasks.

Separate classes will be dedicated to using AI for teaching and research. Young people will try to transform notes and educational materials into structured knowledge bases, work with scientific sources, and conduct research using AI.

The program also includes a digital security module. Participants will learn how to recognize deepfakes, check suspicious photos, videos, and messages, and protect personal data. Creative workshops will focus on image generation and editing, text, storytelling, and content creation for their own projects. The result will be work that can be added to a portfolio.

A special feature of the course will be an AI task diary. From the first lesson, each participant will record recurring tasks from school, work, or their own projects, estimate how long they take, and determine which processes can be simplified with the help of AI.

Based on these recordings, participants will create their own AI agent. It can be a digital assistant for planning training, analyzing vacancies, working with documents, preparing research, or other regular tasks. After creating the first version, young people will be able to test and improve it with the support of mentors.

The training will conclude with a Demo Day: participants will present their AI agents, show how they work, and receive expert feedback. Those who fulfill the program requirements will also receive certificates.

Youth ages 16–22 are invited to participate. The training is free and online. Organizers expect participants to be able to devote up to four hours per week to the program.
